3/4 can be interpreted and written in many different forms- like 3 divided by 4, 3 out of 4, or 3 out of four sections. It could also be thought of as a decimal like 0.75 or a percentage like 75%. Additionally, you can write the fraction in equivalent forms by multiplying the top and bottom by a number, like if you multiply the top and bottom by 2, you'd have 6/8. 6/8 and 3/4 are equivalent fractions.
